Why "start where you are" works better than starting over

Most nutrition plans do not fail because people lack discipline. They fail because the plan was written for a life nobody actually lives.

Starting where you are means we begin with your real week: your work hours, your budget, the food you actually like, the culture you eat within. Then we change one thing at a time, in a direction you can keep.

If you drink a soft drink every day, the first step is rarely "stop". It is usually "less", then "different", then "occasionally". That sequence is unglamorous, and it is the one that lasts.
